Spring Travel in Europe

As we’ve seen in recent headlines, leisure travel to Europe has never been more popular, especially in the summer months. While summer can be a wonderful time to visit Europe, many travelers are discovering the joys of vacationing earlier in the year. Here are a few reasons you may want to consider a Spring excursion:

Fewer Crowds: It’s an easy way to help beat the crowds. Spring still tends to have fewer travelers than the summer months which means you'll have a more relaxed and peaceful experience at popular tourist attractions.

Lower Prices: Spring is still considered shoulder season which means there may be some travel deals that can save you money.

Pleasant Weather: Summers are getting hotter. Spring brings milder temperatures and longer daylight hours, making it an ideal time to explore Europe without the extreme heat or cold of summer or winter. You can comfortably enjoy outdoor activities and sightseeing.

Some average temperatures of a few major European cities by month are listed below:

Madrid, Spain - highs between 60 - 72 degrees fahrenheit

Rome, Italy - highs between 62 - 75 degrees fahrenheit

Paris, France - highs between 55 - 68 degrees fahrenheit

London, England - highs between 53 - 65 degrees fahrenheit

Blooming Landscapes: Spring is when Europe's landscapes come to life with colorful blossoms, lush greenery, and vibrant gardens. Cherry blossoms in cities like Paris and Amsterdam are famous, and you can enjoy beautiful scenery in the countryside.

Regardless of when you travel, I consider European travel to be one of life’s great joys, and I’d love to help plan your next trip.
